In the past, mural backdrops for events; studio photography, TV, film and theatre sets were typically painted by hand. As a result, they took some time to create and were comparatively expensive, which meant set designers/event organisers were limited to a fairly small number of available backdrops. Replacing damaged backdrops was also somewhat difficult.

Thanks to modern technology, these issues are a thing of the past. Canvas backdrop printing on large format printers enables us to quickly produce sharp, crisp mural backdrops from high resolution, client-specific digital images.
Digitally printed drops can be produced within only 3 days, or, depending on the specific size required, even sooner. We can produce backdrops in any desired size and print mural backdrops in widths of up to 5 metres as a seamless single panel or, if so desired, in multiple panels that are joined via ‘invisible’ seams.

What’s more, they are highly durable and can be used in-situ and then neatly rolled for storage again and again without the visual quality of a drop being affected.
Correct storage of the of drops will ensure they will last for years, and because the client’s original images can be digitally stored, replacing a panel that was somehow damaged is also quick and easy.
The option to have drops printed double-sided also makes potentially required quick changes significantly easier. Combined with suitable back or front lighting, drops can be used to create a whole range of different atmospheres/moods.
